Eighteen

Dammit I'm always lagging with my posts these day.

I suppose I should reflect about my birthday by now. Actually what I SHOULD be doing is my online Spanish homework, but let's forget that exists right now.

So how do I feel that I've finally reached the big ONE-EIGHT? Well, let's see what I can do...

2. Buy porn
3. Smoke
4. Get a tattoo
5. Gamble at Indian casinos
6. CLUBBING

Doesn't feel that different. What DOES feel different is that my friends ordered a freaking ULUWATU for me. WOOOT. Plus I have enough money to order a Logitech Z-2300. 400 WATTS BABY. Plus I got the greatest gift of all from some silly girl, and I just can't stop looking at it.

Truth be told, it does feel great to be 18. Yet, I still am cautious, as I transition into manhood. With this transition comes greater responsibility, and independence. I feel I am ready to accept this, but I have no idea of the outcome. In 10 years, I will look back upon this moment and...feel old HAHA.

With this new year, I'm going to try to become more aware of the choices I make, as I know they will very soon have a direct impact on my life. Gone are the days of depending on my parents to make the choices of me. Adulthood is approaching fast, and I must be ready for it, to, as they say, "hit the ground running."

In the meantime...let the good times roll! (how unfrackingbelievably cheesy)

UPDATE: Highlights of the night
1. While we're taking group pictures in the suite, we're trying to decide what pose to do. Kevin Wu yells "FOB POSE!" And Sean, who comes from Indonesia, is like, "What's a fob pose...?"
2. While we're taking group pictures in the suite, Brian yells "4 MORE SHOTS!" which refers to picture shots. However, at that point, our RA passes by and thinks we're getting crunk. We almost get in trouble.
