Today was my first time at South Coast Plaza. Truth be told, I've never felt so inadequate (I swear someone's used that word in regards to SCP before). Yes, Rodeo Drive made me feel inadequate as well, but it was outdoors, so I could at least look to the sky if I didn't want to look at the stores. Inside SCP, however, I was completely surrounded by high-end stores, resulting in such a suffocating atmosphere. Everywhere I turned, there was a $3000 price tag on something. Geez!
I also bought some items from H&M today for the first time. I am very excited.
Okay, happy/interesting things from this past week, before I forget:
Monday: Got to see my family again; rediscovered home cooking, memory foam, and soft toilet paper.
Tuesday: Roaring Tiger :)
Wednesday: Disproved my June woes that I would never be at a pep rally again; witnessed a sophomore boy ask TWO girls (seniors, too) to Winter Formal; attended Eric's jaj presentation; reunion with Bernard, Loris, and Brian, as well as Josh; visited a bunch of teachers; reunion with Jamie, Emily, and Tiff (not really for the last two HAHA) along the way; reunion with In-N-Out; failed attempt to watch The Day the Earth Stood Still; attended the band concert at night; unexpected reunion with Greg Taniguchi o.o
Thursday: Hung out with Eric for half a day at the mall; failed attempt to find a job at the mall; second and final failed attempt to watch The Day the Earth Stood Still.
Friday: Mega-huge reunion with c/o 2008 people at school; mini-reunion with Chipotle; Roaring Tiger.
No, I haven't begun replying to people on Facebook yet. So bad.
No, I haven't begun tagging my music. Not so bad.
Yes, I have cleaned out my email inbox! Excitement.
Kinda in the process of getting music from imeem.com.
I've started reading again! Currently reading: For One More Day, by Mitch Albom.
